Pink October: PharmaSmile takes action
Every year, October is an opportunity to put breast cancer awareness back at the heart of conversations.
At PharmaSmile, we have chosen to join this mobilization in our own way: by putting pink in the spotlight, but above all by giving meaning to this statement.
For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are highlighting three PharmaSmile products in pink tones:
-
Discover our new ultra-rich shower gel with a delicate floral fragrance. Thanks to its generous 1L size, it will cleanse your face, body, and hair, leaving your skin moisturized and soothed.
Formulated with aloe vera and white orchid, this gentle and respectful gel has been formulated to cleanse, protect and soothe the intimate area, making it perfectly suitable for daily use.
This food supplement combines a synergy of carefully selected plant extracts to help maintain good comfort before and during the menstrual cycle, and also helps women cope with the signs of menopause.
A collective mobilization at PharmaSmile
But above all, Pink October will also be experienced internally.
Throughout the month, all our employees will be invited to participate in a solidarity fund for the benefit of the League Against Cancer, with the help of the Indre-et-Loire Departmental Committee.
This initiative allows everyone to contribute at their own level because every donation can make a difference.
These donations will go directly to the League Against Cancer to implement numerous projects at the local and national level:
Both for medical research and also for supporting people with breast cancer (with socio-aesthetic care, advice or psychological support).
Informing is also taking action
Beyond our campaign, Pink October remains first and foremost a time to raise awareness about breast cancer and its screening.
We have printed brochures to raise awareness among our teams, and you can also find information on the website of the League Against Cancer or in their official brochures on breast cancer or its screening .
The national organized screening program is for women aged 50 to 74 who have no symptoms or particular risk factors other than age. They are invited every two years to have a mammogram combined with a clinical breast exam. Don't hesitate to talk about it with other women in your life who might be eligible.
To find out the recommendations that are right for your age and situation, talk to a healthcare professional and consult the official information from the National Cancer Institute.
Together, let's keep the mobilization alive.
Pink products, small gestures, mobilization of our employees and awareness: throughout the month of October, PharmaSmile is going pink.
But behind the color, one essential message remains:
To care, raise awareness and mobilize.
A MONTH IN PINK. GESTURES THAT COUNT.
